The city of Plaza and the surrounding area have a number of cemeteries. There are 3 near to the City and 4 in rural areas.
There is the Community Cemetery 1/2 mile East of town, the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery 1/4 mile South of town, and the First Lutheran Cemetery 1/2 mile North of town.
The rural cemeteries are Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, 8 miles North and 2 miles West of town, First Lutheran Wabek Cemetery, 4 miles South of town, Spring Valley Lutheran Cemetery, 4 miles East and 4 miles North of town, and Shell Creek Lutheran Cemetery, 5 miles West and 13 miles North of town.
